Host Agreement

The terms on which you list your vehicle on GoGo Cars and get paid for it.

Effective September 1, 2026 · Last updated September 1, 2026

1. This agreement

This agreement is between you — the owner of a vehicle listed on GoGo Cars — and Gogo Enterprises, which operates the GoGo Cars self-drive car rental service. It applies from the moment you submit a vehicle for listing, and it governs how your vehicle is rented out and how you are paid for it.

It works alongside our Terms & Conditions, which cover your use of the platform generally, and our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your personal data. Where this agreement and the general terms differ on something specific to hosting, this agreement governs.

You list your vehicle as an independent owner. This agreement does not make you our employee, agent or partner, and it does not give us ownership of your vehicle.

2. Who can list a vehicle

To list a vehicle on GoGo Cars you must:

  • be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement;
  • own the vehicle, or have the registered owner's written authority to rent it out;
  • be able to show a registration certificate (RC) that matches the vehicle you are listing;
  • hold valid insurance, a valid fitness certificate where one is required, and a valid pollution certificate for the vehicle;
  • give us bank or UPI details in your own name so we can pay you.

One vehicle may only be listed once. If a registration number is already on the platform, we will not list it again.

3. Listing a vehicle

When you enter a registration number, we look the vehicle up in the RTO registry and fill in what it tells us — make, model, body type, fuel, seats, colour and year. Check those details before you continue. If the registry is wrong or incomplete, correct it; you are responsible for the listing being accurate.

Every vehicle is reviewed by us before it can be booked. Until that review is finished the listing shows as in review and no customer can see or book it. If we approve it, it goes live. If we do not, we tell you why, and you can fix the problem and submit again.

We may decline to list a vehicle, or remove one already listed, if its documents are not current, if its condition is not fit for renting, if the photos do not show the vehicle being listed, or if we reasonably believe a customer would be at risk.

4. Keeping your vehicle rentable

For as long as your vehicle is listed, you must:

  • keep insurance, fitness and pollution certificates valid, and renew them before they lapse;
  • keep the vehicle serviced, roadworthy and clean, with working lights, tyres, brakes and seatbelts;
  • keep the documents that must travel with the vehicle in it;
  • tell us straight away if the vehicle is sold, transferred, impounded, written off, or otherwise cannot be rented;
  • tell us straight away if the vehicle needs repair after a trip.

If a vehicle cannot safely be rented, block its dates or tell us and we will take it off the market. Leaving an unfit vehicle bookable is a breach of this agreement.

5. Booking requests

Requests for your vehicle come to you first. Until you accept, the customer cannot pay and the booking does not exist — so a request you leave unanswered is a booking you have lost, not one that quietly goes away. You can accept or decline each one in the host app, and we notify you when a request arrives.

Every customer who can reach that point has completed identity verification with us: their Aadhaar is checked against UIDAI records and their driving licence against the issuing authority. We do not let an unverified customer book.

Declining is your right, and there is no penalty for a decline you had a reason for. Repeatedly declining bookings you could have taken, or accepting and then making the vehicle unavailable, affects how your listing is ranked and may lead us to remove it.

6. Availability and blocked dates

You decide when your vehicle is available. Blocking a date range in the host app takes it off the market for those dates — it stops appearing in customer searches and cannot be booked, however the customer arrived at it.

You cannot block dates a customer already holds. If a booking covers the dates you want to block, decline or cancel that booking first; we will not strand a customer who has already paid for a trip.

We may also mark a vehicle unavailable ourselves — for maintenance, after damage, or while something is being investigated. We tell you when we do.

7. Setting your price

You set two hourly rates for your vehicle: one for short trips and one for trips of 24 hours or more. You can change them at any time. A change does not affect a booking that is already confirmed.

We add the charges that belong to the platform rather than to the vehicle — protection, doorstep delivery, taxes and any promotional discount — and show the customer a single fare. Longer trips receive an automatic discount on the rental:

Trip lengthDiscount on the rental
4 to 7 days10%
8 to 15 days15%
16 to 22 days21%
23 days or more30%

Discounts and coupon codes reduce what the customer pays, and both your share and ours are worked out from that reduced total. In other words we discount alongside you, not at your expense alone.

8. What you earn

You keep 70% of the car fare — the hourly rate you set, multiplied by the length of the trip. We keep 30% of it as the platform fee, and GST is charged on our 30%, not on your 70%.

The fare is what you share in, because the fare is what you priced and what you provided. Protection, doorstep delivery and late-return charges are our own services: we set those prices, we carry those costs, and they are not part of your share. Nor is a customer's wallet credit deducted from you — it changes what they pay us, not what you earned.

A trip with a ₹2,280 fare and ₹399 protectionAmount
Car fare₹2,280
Your share (70% of the fare)₹1,596
GoGo Cars platform fee (30% of the fare)₹684
Protection, kept by GoGo Cars₹399
GST at 18%, charged on our share only₹195
Paid to you₹1,596

We raise a settlement invoice for each completed trip. It itemises the fare and each platform charge separately, so you can see which parts you share in and which you do not, and states exactly what is payable to you. Until that invoice is raised, the earnings shown in your app are an estimate at the same 70% of the fare, and are marked as still to be settled.

9. Getting paid

You tell us where to send your money — a bank account or a UPI ID — and confirm in the app that those details are correct. We pay to the details you gave us. If they are wrong, the money goes where you sent it, and we cannot recover it for you. Check every character, and update them in the app before they change.

We store your bank account number encrypted and never show it back to you in full — only the last four digits, so you can recognise the account without exposing it.

Your earnings are your income. You are responsible for your own tax on them, including registering for GST if your turnover requires it and accounting for any tax deducted at source. We are not your tax adviser.

10. Damage, deposits and claims

Every customer pays a refundable security deposit before collecting a vehicle — ₹2,000 by default, and more on some vehicles. The vehicle is photographed and inspected at pickup and again at return, and both sets of photos are kept.

What a renter owes for damage is set by us for each vehicle when it is reviewed, and depends on the protection the customer bought at booking. It is a platform commercial term rather than something you price, so that the same damage costs the same customer the same amount whichever vehicle they took.

If your vehicle comes back damaged, report it as soon as you find it, with photographs. We assess it against the pickup inspection and recover what is due from the deposit and, where the damage exceeds it, from the customer. We pass on what we recover. We are not able to recover damage you report after the vehicle has been rented again, because there is no longer any way to tell which trip caused it.

Fines, tolls and traffic violations incurred during a trip are the customer's. Tell us as soon as a notice reaches you and we will pursue it.

11. Insurance

Your vehicle must be insured, and the policy must permit it to be rented out and driven by someone other than you. Self-drive rental is a commercial use, and an ordinary private policy usually excludes it. Tell your insurer what the vehicle is being used for, in writing, before you list it.

GoGo Cars is not an insurer and does not insure your vehicle. The protection a customer buys limits what they owe us for damage; it is not a policy covering your vehicle. If your insurer refuses a claim because the vehicle was being rented out, that is between you and your insurer.

12. Taking your vehicle off the platform

You can stop listing a vehicle whenever you want. Block its dates, or ask us to remove the listing and we will.

Bookings a customer already holds are a separate matter: a confirmed trip has been paid for and planned around. Honour it, or tell us early enough that we can find the customer another vehicle. Cancelling a confirmed booking at short notice, repeatedly, is a breach of this agreement.

13. Suspension and ending this agreement

Either of us can end this agreement at any time. Ending it does not cancel bookings already confirmed, and does not affect earnings you have already made — we still settle those.

We may suspend or remove a listing immediately, without notice, if a document has expired, if the vehicle appears unsafe, if we suspect fraud or misrepresentation, or if leaving the listing up would put a customer at risk. We will tell you why.

14. Our role and our liability

We operate the platform that connects your vehicle with customers, verify those customers, take the payment and settle your share. We do not drive your vehicle and we do not control what a customer does with it during a trip.

Except where the law does not allow us to limit it, our liability to you for anything arising out of a booking is limited to the amount payable to you for that booking. We are not liable for loss of anticipated earnings, or for loss caused by your vehicle being unavailable.

Nothing here limits our liability for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under Indian law.

15. Changes to this agreement

We may update this agreement. If a change affects what you earn or what you owe, we will tell you before it takes effect, and continuing to list your vehicle after that date means you accept it. Bookings confirmed before a change are settled on the terms that applied when they were confirmed.
